Following a time‐honored tradition, join us for a little time to recharge, meet like-minded needleworkers, have some tea, share your work, and get inspired in a relaxed country setting!
We have a few projects to get rolling this year.
Collection Repro quilt: Currently we are gathering fabrics to reproduce the nine-patch quilt that is displayed in the homestead. e have a few more fabrics to find but we can get moving cutting fabric January 20.
2025 – 50th Museum Anniversary hand applique raffle quilt: We received a started Baltimore style applique quilt from Elizabeth Buniskis Husband and friend Alice. It seems like a shame to not finish the quilt in the spirit in which it was started. To honor Liz and the art of hand applique we will be using her plan and nine finished blocks as the beginning point to create a truly special quilt to benefit Hallockville Museum Farm in 2025. If you wish to participate, let Connie know. If you have any orphan finished applique floral type blocks you would like to add, also let Connie know. We will need to draw up a schedule to ensure it gets done and quilted to start the raffle by early Spring of 2025.
