Dale Moyer (Board President) is a retired Agriculture Program Director and Associate Executive Director for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. Prior to being an administrator, Dale was the Extension Vegetable/Potato Specialist for more than twenty years. Member of the Education Foundation of Suffolk County Extension, Suffolk County Farmland Committee and Peconic Land Trust Policy Committee.  

Sara Phillips (Board VP) is a former New York City fundraising professional. Now a full-time North Forker, she works part-time for Sweet Woodland Farm, and as a gardener and beekeeper for private clients. She is also a Board Member of Johanna’s Hope, a 2022 CCE Master Gardener, and Shorebird Monitor for North Fork Audubon Society.  

Joe Dalimonte (Board Treasurer) is a retired financial adviser.  

Suzanne Johnson (Board Secretary) is a retired public library director. President of the Rocky Point Historical Society. Member Preservation Long Island, Long Island Museum Association, Museum Association of New York.  

Donna Albano is an attorney working for the New York State Unified Court System for over 30 years. Member of the North Fork Community Theatre and volunteer with Center for Advocacy, Support and Transformation (CAST), Southold, NY.  

John Bockino is a semi-retired Emeritus Professor of Economics at Suffolk County Community College and a member of the Audubon Society.  

Marie Fitzgerald is a retired history professor. St. Joseph’s University. M.A. and Ph.D in history.  

Lois Leonard is a retired speech-language pathologist who worked extensively with the hard of hearing and autistic population. She also spent sixteen years in Belgium teaching at an international school where she ensured all the students’ needs were met. Lois has a deep respect for all living creatures whether they be furry, feathery, eight legged or hard shelled. Gardening is one of her passions as she dedicates her time tending to her flowers and vegetables. Her ultimate goal is to transform her lawn into a series of pathways and native plantings. 

Alfonso Martinez-Fonts is an owner of North Fork Flower Farm in Southold, NY.  He worked for over 30 years at JP Morgan Chase and its predecessors both domestically and internationally.  He subsequently served as the Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector at the Department of Homeland Security and as Executive VP of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation in Washington, DC.  Al serves on the board of trustees at his Alma Mater, Villanova University.  He served for 3 years as co-president of Hallockville Museum Farm. 

Adam Matros is the Branch Manager and Vice President of M&T Bank in Riverhead. He is also a member of the Riverhead Rotary.  

Samantha Moore is a real estate professional with extensive experience in affordable housing development, distressed asset redevelopment, and luxury construction. Proven track record of successful project management, compliance with regulations, and relationship building with stakeholders.  

Kevin Nohejl is a science teacher from Shoreham-Wading River High School. He serves on Hallockville’s beekeeping committee.  

Mina Vescera is the nursery and landscape specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. Former board member of the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) and current advisor on the LINPI steering committee. Member of the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.  

Richard Wines is a retired Wall Street investor relations consultant. Past president of the Hallockville Museum Farm. Chair of the Riverhead Landmarks Preservation Commission. Member of the Riverhead Farmland Preservation and Transfer of Development Rights committees. Worked on the Riverhead Master Plan and the creation of three new parks in Riverhead: Hallock State Park Preserve, the North Fork Preserve, and Sharper’s Hill in Jamesport. Richard is the author of A Farm Family on Long Island’s North Fork: The Lost World of the Hallocks and their Sound Avenue Community. 

Jonathan Zenir brings over 20 years of expertise in technology and business transformation, focusing on team leadership and development. He has a strong passion for empowering people and organizations to achieve their goals through technological advancements. At Microsoft, he leads global technical strategy for Hybrid Work, overseeing aspects from go-to-market strategies to product and program incubation. Jonathan thrives on building teams, organizations, and innovative ideas. His extensive experience covers various industries with a strong emphasis on enterprise technology and managing change programs and transformations. He enjoys volunteering, mentoring, coaching, and challenging conventional practices. Known for his collaborative and analytical leadership style, Jonathan is action-oriented and results-driven.
