Riverhead Farmers Market brings local farmers, food producers, and community together on the North Fork throughout the winter
RIVERHEAD, NY — Hallockville Museum Farm is pleased to announce a partnership with the Riverhead Farmers Market to host the Winter Farmers Market in its historic Naugles Barn, bringing fresh, locally produced goods and a vibrant community gathering place to the North Fork throughout the colder months.
Beginning in November, the Winter Farmers Market will take place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hallockville Museum Farm, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to shop local, support regional agricultural businesses, and connect with the people who grow and produce their food.
The partnership brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to local agriculture, community engagement, and the preservation of the region’s farming heritage. By welcoming the market into Naugles Barn, Hallockville offers a distinctive historic setting for a modern community tradition—one that celebrates the North Fork’s agricultural roots while supporting the farmers, makers, and small businesses that continue to shape its future.
The Winter Farmers Market will offer visitors the opportunity to discover seasonal products and locally made goods while enjoying the unique atmosphere of Hallockville’s historic farmstead. The market also reflects Hallockville’s broader commitment to making the museum farm a year-round community resource, creating opportunities for local partnerships, education, and engagement beyond the traditional growing season.
Community members are encouraged to make the Winter Farmers Market part of their Saturday routine and experience the historic Naugles Barn as a gathering place for local food, small businesses, and community connection.
