Meet the oxen – basic terminology, care, and handling!

Come spend a morning with our resident ox team, Eddie & Dylan.  In this class, you will learn exactly what is an ox, anyway?  We will also cover current uses of oxen in the US and around the world, as well as behavior, care & feeding.  We will then spend the rest of the time grooming our oxen and getting comfortable working around large animals.  If there is interest, we will do a driving demonstration at the end.

This class is great for adults and kids 10 and over who want a relaxed paced workshop getting comfortable with the oxen.
