Join us for a bird walk on International Migratory Bird Day! This is peak migration season for birds heading to their northern breeding grounds and a good variety will be observed. Warblers, vireos, thrush, hawks, and waterfowl will all be found as we walk through a variety of habitats of fields, woods, and pond areas along the Long Island Sound. Bird sightings for this day will be entered into databases of the National Audubon Society/Cornell Lab of Ornithology in cooperation with this world birding day.
Bring binoculars and wear tick repellent for a 3-mile walk. Meet in Hallockville Farm Museum Parking Lot.
