Join ReWild and Hallockville Museum Farm for a Dye Pot Demonstration. August 22nd 10am to 2pm. This is a free workshop however space is limited.Â
Sara Jones, of Plants 2 Dye 4, will guide you through a look at local plants to see how they can be used to add a pop of color to natural fibers. We will explore the whole process from preparing fibers to accept natural dyes to colorful creation. You will leave with the knowledge of forging your own gardens to dye at home. You may even be growing dye plants in your garden already!
 Step back in time to see how you can use these historic and sustainable practices in today’s modern world.Â
