Enjoy live traditional music Thursday evenings on the historic grounds of our museum in July and August with local Blues, Bluegrass and other musical groups. Bring your chair and join us for a night of fun live music.

 You are welcome to bring picnic blankets, folding chairs, etc for use on the lawn.

Thursday, July 1 – Grateful Bluegrass Jammers
With a nod towards the Bluegrass spectrum, this group of joined at the hip musicians will move you with the standouts of the Grateful Dead Bluegrass catalogue – which finds its roots in classic bluegrass as well as Mel Tillis, George Jones and the immortal Merle Haggard.

Don’t miss an evening with Tom Circosta (guitar/vocals) – Bob Weir disciple and Zen Trickster; Klyph Black (bass/vocal) also a Zen Trickster and the founding member of Rumor Has It; Tom San Filippo (guitar/vocals) and member of “Half Step” and “Tiger Rose”; and Jimmy (Papa Jim) Fleming (mandolin/fiddle/vocals) with a lifetime of diverse experience and a member of both The Electrix, and Dead Ringers. This highly accomplished bluegrass ensemble will hold down the Barn for the evening.

Thursday, July 8 – Buddy Merriam & Back Roads
