DRIVE-IN LIVE MUSIC IS BACK! THURSDAY EVENINGS @ 6:30 PM
Join us for a night of fun live music. Enjoy live traditional music Thursday evenings on the historic grounds of our museum in July and August with local Blues, Bluegrass and other musical groups. You are welcome to bring picnic blankets, folding chairs, etc for use on the lawn.
Thursday, July 22 – Chic Voorhis & Friends Rhythm & Schmooze
Chic Voorhis has been a musician of the Long Island music scene since the late 1970s. Chic has a diverse musical background having played, rock & roll, country blues, bluegrass, classic rock, swing and original songs in solo performances, duo’s and a variety of bands for over 40 years. Skilled on acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, harmonica and vocals, Chic weaves multiple instruments into nightly performances from his extensive repertoire. Chic & Friends brings together musicians with similar musical interests to perform an eclectic mix of songs from all music genres. With a song list of over 250 songs, you never know what you might hear, but be assured, it will be entertaining and fun!
