July 29 – The Englishtown Trio

The Englishtown Trio is a subset of The Englishtown Project, a 7 piece band that spent 2018 & 2019 touring the Northeast, paying tribute to the iconic 1977 concert at Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ which featured The Marshall Tucker Band, The New Riders of the Purple Sage and The Grateful Dead.

The Englishtown Trio plays music of the “mothership” band, plus classic rock, blues, R&B, folk / country rock and classic pop from the 60’s up to the present.

August 5 – Not Quite Dead

Not Quite Dead celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead with our own spin. We love the music and the family!

“One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain”.(1)
Not Quite Dead’s ethos is a simple one, to play music that makes you feel good. The bands formation grew out of a love to interpret the varied sounds, genres and heritages of American roots music, known as ” Americana Music”. Anchored by a love for The Grateful Dead, considered the holy grail of live musical performance, Not Quite Dead set lists travel the musical map of country, blues, folk ,and good old rock and roll. The result is a roots oriented sound that strives to live apart from the pure forms of the music that it draws from.
